 Q1. What are your names, how old are you and where are you from?

A1. Conan: I’m Conan Dorgan I’m 20 and I’m from Cork in Ireland

Thom: I’m Thom Meredith I’m 20 and I’m from Eastbourne in England

Naz: I’m Naz De Souza I’m 20 and I’m from Brighton in England

Leo: I’m Leo Godwin I’m 15 and I’m from Norwich, England 

Q2. What made you think of Colour Me In for a name of the band?

A2. C: I think Naz should answer that.

N: Well, we wanted to have a name that made people think and describe our type of music.

C: With the name Colour Me In you can kind of sort out pick out what you want it to mean, you can paint your own picture. 

Q3. What part do you play in the band?

A.3. C I sing and play the guitar.

T: I play drums and sing occasionally.

N: I play lead guitar.

L: I play base guitar. 

Q4. Do you write your own music? And do you enjoy it?

A4. All: yep and umm yep 

Q5. What genre do you play?

A5. C. kind of pop, rock, punk post emo

L: A bit of everything really

N: just like a liquorish all sorts.

All: laughs 

Q6. What was your first song called and what made you think of the name?

A6. C. My reality, it’s basically about alcoholism there is a line that says “my reality is fine”, when someone is addicted to alcohol they think everything is all right when everybody else doesn’t and they can’t see why 

Q7. How long has the band been together?

A7. C: just gone a year now

Q8. How many gigs have you done?

A8. All: seven gigs

C. We are doing our 8^th gig tonight at the Royal flush in Alhaurín el Grande 

Q9. Have you played at any festivals?

A9.C: Yep, at the Dragon fest in Granada

-Would you like to play at any more or are you any time soon?

C: Yes, we’re playing the next dragon fest hopefully and as many more as they’ll have us basically.

N: We would like to play at Reading or Leeds festival if we could. 

Q10. Do you need any more band members? If so, what for?

C: Triangles

N: Female dancers and male for Leo. 

Q11.If you could play with any other bands or musicians/artists who would it be?

C: Spice Girls!

All: Laughs

T: Anybody else.

All: Any one of our inspirations. 

Q12. Do you have a manager?

L: Not as such.

C: We’re open for offers.

N: No

L: We’re like lost children in a sea of confusion!

C: We need our Peter Pan! 

Q1: Who are your inspirations?

A1.C: Fightstar, +44 and Bob Dylan.

L: Post punk bands, sonic youth …….

N: Anyone who’s picked up a guitar, Wes Bolan from Limp Bizkit

T: Frank Zappa, Nirvana…. 

Q2.What school did you go to?

A2.C: I.E.S La Cala de Mijas

T: In the u.k.

N: St. Anthony’s and same as Conan

L: I.E.S Torre Almenara, CIC and home school. 

Q3. Do you work and where?

A3. In a furniture shop.

T: Painting and decorating -with your dad-

N: Cheffing -with your mom-

All: laugh

L: Studying 

Q4.What made you start playing instruments or singing?

A4.C. Me and my friend decided to start a band because my pal had one but we couldn’t play anything. One day we decided to approach naz and ask if he wanted to play in a band and he said “ yeah that would be wicked” and I said “ do you play anything” and he said “ naaaah” and I said do you what do you want to play and he said “ whatever “ so we both played guitar. And it developed from there

L: I was in a jazz band with my dad and then I joined colour me in
N: Basicly Conan made me!
T: loads of influences started when I was sixteen

Q5.is this a career or a hobby for you?

C: Career

T: Career

L: A bit of both.

N: Career. 

Q6.Have you been in any other bands?

A6.C: A couple but they never really took off.

N: Not any real ones like CMI.

T: In England the one and over here too.

L: I was in a jazz band over here and two other ones that didn’t last long. 

Q7.Do you have any side projects?

A7.N: No, I’m 100% dedicated to CMI!!

C: Nope.

T: No, but I’ve recorded a demo on my own before.

L: No I don’t. 

Q8.So our final question....Where do you see yourselves in 2 years time as a band or solo?

A8.Jail!

All: hysterical laughter!!!

N: In England gigging

L: Playing as much music as possible!

T: Hopefully constant and bigger gigs.

N: hopefully we’ll be signed by then.
